 Architecture Calculator

Ten questions about your team, your workload, and your constraints. In return, a specific infrastructure recommendation and the reasoning behind it.

 What This Does

Most architecture advice online assumes you are a large company with a platform team. This tool assumes nothing. It weighs your actual constraints, including team size, in-house expertise, compliance obligations, and budget, then recommends the simplest approach that meets them.

It takes about two minutes, and it asks for no contact information.

Step 1

Answer ten questions

Plain questions about your environment. No account, no email, nothing saved.

Step 2

Get a recommendation

Architecture approach, compute, database, tooling, monitoring, cost outlook, and migration complexity.

Step 3

See the reasoning

Every result explains which of your answers drove it, so you can judge whether it holds up.

Question 1 of 10

What It Covers

  • Recommended architecture approach
  • Compute strategy and whether orchestration is warranted
  • Database selection and availability posture
  • Deployment tooling matched to your release cadence
  • Monitoring depth appropriate to your SLA
  • Directional cost outlook against your current spend
  • Migration complexity and realistic timeline
  • What the design requires from your team

What It Does Not Do

This is a starting point, not a design. It works from patterns, not from your environment, so it cannot see the integration that constrains everything, the contract that dictates your data residency, or the system nobody wants to touch.

Cost figures are ranges rather than quotes. Treat the output as a hypothesis worth testing, and bring it to a call if you want it pressure tested against what you are actually running.
